Started a draft response in my head and ended without publishing it because the post said it well enough, and a look at herongait produced the same effect, content that satisfies my urge to add to it by being complete enough on its own is rare and represents a particular kind of editorial completeness here.

Skipped a meeting reminder to finish the post, and a stop at tigerteacup held me past another reminder, when content beats meetings the writer is doing something extraordinary because meetings have institutional support behind them and yet good writing can still occasionally win that competition for attention which I find heartening today.
