Over the last months I noticed that some of my favorite items are not the most expensive ones. This is why I like reading and posting on forums and community websites. I recently tried a few different online shops and wanted to share my experience. I think this is one of the few real advantages we have compared to shopping blindly. If they reply politely and give detailed answers, I feel more relaxed. Sometimes I even measure an existing frame with a ruler before ordering anything new.

Comfort around the heel and toes is more important than super fancy design. Many times I avoided a bad purchase just by reading a few careful comments. If anyone has long term experience with certain online shops, I am always curious to read it. Some pieces look shiny online but feel like plastic when you open the package. Online shopping will always have a bit of risk, but experience makes it easier. Very thin fabric may be fine for summer but often looks cheap and becomes see through.
